We recognize that for neutrals, 80% of business is
local. And, for neutrals resolving civil disputes, the
vast majority of clients are attorneys. It is this
reality that is addressed by each of our regional
websites; each site is widely use by that region's
attorneys and law firms, as a daily aid to expedite
the selection and/or scheduling of the most respected
and established ADR professionals.
We are continuing our drive to compile a definitive
state-by-state network of local community websites,
containing only the top-tier of each region's
neutrals.
Affiliated Associations
The National
Academy of Distinguished Neutrals is an association whose
membership consists of mediators and arbitrators distinguished by
their hands-on experience in the field of civil and commercial
conflict resolution, and by their commitment to the practice of
alternative dispute resolution.
Membership is by invitation only and all Academy members have
been thoroughly reviewed and found to meet stringent practice
criteria. Members are amongst the most in-demand neutrals in
their respective states, as selected by both peers and local
litigation firms. With over 700 members throughout the
United States, the NADN is America's largest professional
association of top-tier neutrals. Visit the Academy website at www.NADN.org
The Florida Circuit-Civil Mediators
Society
Our Florida Society at
www.FloridaMediators.org was
established in late 2004, and took many hundreds of attorney and firm surveys,
peer-nomination screening & vetting to compile. Florida has been a pioneer
in the use of ADR, and likely has more fulltime practitioners than any
other state. As such, the Florida Supreme Court's Dispute Resolution
Center has a clear certification process, awarding attorneys with a
"Circuit-Civil" certification to allow them to mediate civil litigated
cases. Of the 5000+ "state certified" ADR attorneys, less than 5% are
included in our FL Panel of the state's most distinguished neutrals.
